About the Band...

Midnight Rodeo presents a multitude of musical styles based on traditional country, swing and Americana.  The band brings to life many of the great standards, crossing generations of folks who enjoy listening and dancing to.  The combination of excellent male and female vocals and ability to engage the audience will keep folks of all ages and tastes entertained on and off the dance floor.

Kristi Spurlock Perez

Kristi is the bands female lead vocalist and is a Jesus lovin', restaurant ownin', country music sangin', wife to one man, momma of 5 & nanny to the most precious grandson you’ve ever seen.   She grew up as a preachers kid and has been singing since the age of 4. Kristi is professionally trained and has performed professionally since her teens. She loves to sing at church, in the car, at work, in the shower, and with this band! Oh, She also has a slight obsession with the color pink.

 

Gary Burford

Gary is the band's featured male lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist.  Gary has been a member of the professional circuit touring out of Nashville and other notorious music localities

David Salata

David plays keyboards and the accordion and lives in Flower Mound TX. He loves playing anything from Classic Rock to Country. David grew up in the midwest in a musical family and has been playing music from a very young age. He has been living in Texas for over 37 years.

Becca Watson

Becca began violin studies at the age of three.  She played under scholarship for the TCU symphony and while there,  played fiddle for various country bands.

Stephen Leake

Lead guitar player Stephen Leake lives in Kaufman, Texas. He plays blues and classic rock as well as country music. He also owns and trains American Quarter Horses..

Chuck Hamilton

Raised in the Texas Panhandle and Llano Estacado during the heyday of real country music and the pedal steel guitar, Chuck grew up captivated by the melodic harmonies of the steel guitar coming out of the AM radio. Chuck is a lifelong musician who plays several instruments but his favorite is his Horizontal Hillbilly Harp - his pedal steel guitar. Chuck and his Cowgirl live in their quarter acre spread in Flower Mound, Texas

Jim Watkins

Jim plays bass.  His band experience started with a rock cover band in Wiesbaden Germany while serving in the Air Force.  After a hiatus of family raising, he picked up bass and played many years for the praise band at his church which lead to a bass gig with a rock cover band.  After switching back to guitar and falling in love with country music, he had the good luck of finding Midnight Rodeo, the most fun country band in town!.

CW Camp aka Clay

Drums/backing vocals.  Grew up in Dallas, Texas listening to a wide variety of music. From Pop to Rock, Country as well as some Gospel, Blues and Jazz.  He began beating on coffee cans before ever getting his 1st drum set.  Clay loves to sing harmony as well as play drums and percussion, performed in numerous bands over the years.  He has toured the southern U.S. as well as over seas.  Clay’s has a Passion and dedication to making good music along with providing energy as the bands time keeper.
